These tips are very important to your success in weight loss.Diets don’t work if they worked we wouldn’t have obese people in the world. Most diets are made for you to be depended on them, what I mean by that is, you would stop losing weight if you stop using their products, pills, package meal, shakes and programs, and they cost so much.
What does work, is changing your way of life!
1. Start your own diet plan that you will be able to follow for the rest of your life. Making small changes week by week it will not be so hard on you. For example: This week give up white bread. Next week, change to diet soda. The next week, add more water to your diet, the next week add a fruit serving in your daily diet, the following week add 2 more vegetable servings in your daily diet. Then add leaner meats for your meals. Week by week add little changes to your list.
2. Eat Breakfast every day - You have to eat breakfast, this is very important.
3. Feed your body - eat two snacks a day and drink a protein shake.
4. Learn to cook without the bad fats - Take a health coking class, look on line for healthy cooking tips
5. Increase your Activity - Add ten minutes a week to your daily routine of exercise. Find someone that you can exercise with, this is support building.
6. Build a Support Base - Family , friends and online friends can be a great start.
7. Keep a Diary - Write everything down that you eat and or drink. Also write down how much exercise you are getting and what types of exercise you are doing. Write these things down so if your weight loss starts to slow down, you can adjust something in your diet or exercise to kick start the weight loss again.
8. Learn to be Selfish - love yourself, take some time just for you. We all have kids, a wife, a husband or a job. Think about it, if you don't take care of yourself, who is going to be doing your job as a mother, a father, a wife, a husband or an employee? How much time do you have, if you don't make a change in your health?
The great news, you’re not just helping yourself, you are teaching your family to live a healthier life. Lets not forget, our childrend learn from us.
